A standing 5895m (19340 feet) above sea level and just 3 degrees south of Equator, snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa’s tallest mountain and the world highest free standing mountain. Mountain Kilimanjaro is composed of three distinct Volcanic cones: Kibo 5,895 m; Mawenzi 5,149 m; and Shira 3,962 m (13,000 ft). Uhuru Peak is the highest summit on Kibo’s crater rim. This mountain is part of the Kilimanjaro National Park and is a major climbing destination

There are several routes for summiting Kilimanjaro however all routes provides beautiful sceneries to experience Kilimanjaro’s different vegetation zones as you trek up. While it is possible to summit for six (6) days, we native tours recommend 6 to 8days climbing to assist with altitude acclimatization.
